The rise of Kobbie Mainoo as a Premier League phenom has seen his star grow to an integral cog in England’s journey to a European Championship final.
He has solidified himself as a regular starter for Manchester United, wowing supporters with a barrage of brilliance.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe is redefining the culture at Old Trafford, and Mainoo has been deemed irreplaceable.
With such, a comprehensive contractual package has been solidified to ensure the young lion remains in Manchester for the foreseeable future.
A deserved deal
Talks have previously been held, with an agreement provisionally accepted before the player headed to Germany.
Theatre of Red understands that a package worth close to £4 Million per annum will set the player alongside Rasmus Hojlund in earnings.
The Cheadle Hulme native has been committed to the 20-time English champions throughout his development, arriving at age nine.
His love for the club and dedication to Erik ten Hag‘s cause will inevitably reap the rewards following a deserved vacation after international duty.
Without a doubt, his rise has been absurd since penning his first professional contract with his boyhood team in 2022.
He has marshalled Southgate’s midfield since becoming the third-youngest player to represent England in a major knockout game fixture less than a fortnight ago.
Lest we forget, this has followed a Player of the Match performance and a game-winning goal in a triumphant FA Cup final victory against Manchester City.
This deal will solidify Mainoo’s importance to Ineos and their dynamic rebuild, with the 19-year-old set to lead Manchester United into a bright future.
