Following the unforgettable events of that midweek Europa League victory against Lyon, Manchester United recommence domestic duties in Easter Sunday’s Premier League outing against Wolves.
Three places and three points separate the sides, but Vitor Pereira has generated notable traction at Molineux, with the Old Gold last tasting a league defeat in February.
Ruben Amorim is eager to harness a feel-good factor at Old Trafford following a season of Jekyll and Hyde antics, with several academy starlets in line to earn additional playing time.
A point would take his side above Everton into 13th, ahead of upcoming challenges against Bournemouth, Brentford and West Ham sandwiched around a vital two-legged affair with Athletic Bilbao.

Academy traditions have always been a mainstay for Manchester United, and Amorim is an undeniable advocate for the promotion of youth.
Ahead of Sunday’s 14:00 GMT kickoff, the former Sporting supremo has hinted at rotation, with several promising talents to earn deserved opportunities.
“I think it is not the best moment or the best season to put some kids to play, because, again, they need a strong base to really show what they can do. But, in this moment, we need to do it, and sometimes you have surprises,” the 40-year-old told the media.
“Ayden [Heaven] just played, and I can be honest, we did it because we had injuries in that moment. But today, I think Ayden is my player, so when he is ready and facing the competition in the team, he is ready to play. So you don’t know.
“Amass did really well. Chido, when he played, he played quite well. It is a difficult moment, it is not the right moment for the kids to play, but if we have to do it, then we will do it.”
Noussair Mazraoui and Victor Lindelof are available for selection, having dealt with “personal issues” during a memorable Europa League night in the North West.
However, several regular faces may be rested with a shared focus on the importance of European success in salvaging a traumatic campaign.
“I have to see it, players like [Diogo] Dalot, they are always ready, but today he was really tired,” Amorim confirmed. “The guys that are at risk to have an injury, we will try to save them, so we will see tomorrow [Friday].”
The Stretford End will hope their men atone for a damaging December defeat to Wolves, falling by two goals to nil during a forgettable festive period.
But the Reds hold a formidable record against their visitors, losing just once in 13 league meetings in the North West (Won nine, drawn three).
Furthermore, United won all four of their home league fixtures played on Easter Sunday by an aggregate scoreline of 9-1. Ruben will be eager to extend this proud Mancunian tradition.
