Sir Jim Ratcliffe is completing a calculated facelift of Manchester United, with senior officials open to the sale of Scott McTominay.
Having acquired Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules dictate the necessity for outgoings for further business.
With moves for Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs de Ligt dependent on generating transfer revenue, several first-team stars face uncertain futures.
Fulham have long courted the services of McTominay and are accelerating their efforts to conclude a deal.
An abundance of transfer activity is imminent
Per transfer mogul Fabrizio Romano, The Cottagers have submitted a further offer of over £20 Million.
Although it is expected to be under the desired fee, the journalist states United would be open to his sale for a figure closer to £30 Million.
When considering the Scottish international is an academy player, 100% of any transfer fee will be pure profit.
The 20-time English champions are also eager to conclude a deal that would see Aaron Wan-Bissaka move to West Ham.
Sources close to the Theatre of Red have confirmed that a deal is close, with the player offered an inflated wage packet to return to London.
Manuel Ugarte is another player Erik ten Hag desires at Old Trafford, with the Uruguayan considered a top priority throughout the summer.
Negotiations have progressed steadily, with both sides attempting to agree on a compromised fee.
According to L’Équipe, Paris Saint-Germain are willing to accept a paid loan for the player, with a future obligation to purchase.
A move would supply steel and grit in Ten Hag’s midfield, with a promising trio formed alongside Kobbie Mainoo and Bruno Fernandes.
