Following a brace of spells on the sidelines alongside a host of injured teammates, Marcus Rashford and Lisandro Martínez are back in training with Manchester United’s first team.
As confirmed by Manchester United’s official website, the pair were pictured back at Carrington working ahead of the final four fixtures of a tumultuous campaign.
Some positive news for Erik ten Hag
Rashford has been out of action since departing the field against Coventry City during an erratic FA Cup Semi-final fixture. But, with pictures of the forward in training a welcome sight, his next outing will be his 400th appearance for the Reds, a truly remarkable feat for the local lad.
Licha has endured the most frustrating of campaigns through injury, making only eleven appearances and not featuring since a 1-1 draw with Brentford in March.
His absence has been felt most throughout the fanbase, with Ten Hag previously vocal about the void of his quality while the Argentine has warmed the bench.
Up next for the Reds
The Dutchman will address the media on Friday, with supporters eager to learn about the availability of both players ahead of Sunday’s 16:30 BST clash with title-chasing Arsenal.
Also clarified by the club was the inclusion of a host of youngsters attempting to impress the manager ahead of the fixture. Ethan Wheatley continues to grow within the first-team spectrum, as does Harry Amass, Toby Collyer, Louis Jackson, and Habeeb Ogunneye.
