Promising central defender Willy Kambwala has rejected the opportunity to extend his deal at Manchester United.
That’s according to German journalist Christopher Michel, who states that the player is attracting interest across Europe.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a bright breakthrough campaign, answering the call of Erik ten Hag during a period of endless injuries.
An apparent reluctance to extend his deal is concerning, with the club keen to tie down their brightest talents.
A Spanish preference
Per Michel’s report, Kambwala is wanted by clubs in France, Germany and America, with Spanish interest believed to be his preference.
His current deal runs until 2025, with the hope that he can build upon his double-digit senior appearances during the previous campaign.
With Sir Jim Ratcliffe establishing his best-in-class backroom team, work is underway to formulate a competitive squad that can challenge across all fronts.
While several names are on the verge of big-money exits, the French underage international has not been among these.

Kambwala has begun pre-season training with Ten Hag’s side and wore the number 32 during conditioning sessions.

Hopefully,they don’t let him go and if they do, it’s a loan,or permanent move with a buy back or huge sell on clause
I want him to stay and so does the club. But it’s his decision. Hopefully he signs.
